Citron Restaurant We had a birthday celebration lunch at the Citron restaurant with my bestie. The restaurant has a nice view, good food, nice entertainment, very good service- especially Hoa Nguyen- he took many good photos for us! We had a great time overall.

Superfabulous Stay! A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone at Intercontinental Sun Peninsula for a fantastic stay! While we cannot name absolutely everyone, please know that we extend this message of compliments, appreciation and gratitude to absolutely EVERYONE! Beginning with Ms. Ha Le from reservations who was warm and kind with lovely messages while organising our booking. Ms. Kay/Phuong Truong – Villa host Supervisor – was wonderful with communicating with us prior to our arrival for any special requests. Upon arrival, she greeted us warmly to ensure all our requests were well met and was enthusiastic to provide any other assistance as required. We were then well looked after in the Club Lounge while having afternoon tea by the very friendly staff. While we had impeccable service from everyone, throughout the course of our stay we most regularly had interactions with Phuc and Jadon who provided us with warm and friendly service over the many visits to the lounge. We enjoyed many delightful conversations with them and found them both engaging and enthusiastic on many subjects. The dedication and pride in their work really shone through! We were also warmly looked after a few times by Vy. Always nice be greeted with everyone’s beautiful smiles and warm, kind, professional and attentive service. Most notably and super special, was our 30th anniversary day! We were totally and completely surprised by the incredibly amazing reception from Tuan/Steven (Club Manager), Jadon (Club Supervisor) and Hoan (Butler – bartender) and Vy when we arrived for our evening “drink”. Tuan had arranged a lovely bottle of bubbles for us to enjoy, while Jadon had created a special cocktail in honour of our celebration, Hoan was wonderful in putting it all together! These very sweet and special touches left us speechless and just made our 30th anniversary an even better celebration than we had ever set out to experience! This was all enjoyed with our incredibly decadent and delicious chocolate cake that had been left in our room upon our arrival! Perfect end to a perfect day – from start to finish! : ) As for the restaurants…. All was well presented and delicious! We enjoyed a couple of dinners at Barefoot, where under the restaurant’s manager (Thong, I believe… apologies if incorrect) and his team, we had wonderful service and the best rack of lamb (perfectly seasoned and cooked), amazing chicken from the grill, Quinoa salad… and as a carb lover – the bread was super delicious! The breakfasts at Citron and the Club Lounge were superb! Citron has such an incredibly extensive selection, and all staff are most attentive and efficient – especially given a full house at breakfast. Toan Le was always very helpful and engaging and looked after us very well. We didn’t attend the Long Bar often, however, the few times we enjoyed a visit, the staff were always warm and friendly. Although seemingly simple, the fresh lime sodas were done perfectly! For the many I drink from elsewhere – these were the best! Also, the fresh coconut drinks are super fresh and delicious! One night was room service – which was also outstanding! Sincere compliments to all the chefs/kitchen/delivery teams! An additional highlight, was the Nature Tour we took with Hung, who was very knowledgeable of the local flora and fauna. We had the great fortune of seeing many families of the critically endangered Red-shanked Douc. As difficult as they are to see, he seemed to always be able to spot them as we drove along and as he explained things and pointed out various plants, etc. There is plenty of beauty around the resort in the lush rainforest. We observed so many beautiful butterflies and unique vegetation, as well as more Red-shanked doucs (now knowing how to spot/listen for them hiding in the foliage) as we went on our daily walks around the resort on our own. Not to be forgotten is the gratitude and appreciation to the groundskeeping teams who make all the surrounding beauty and serenity possible with all their hard work. They keep such immaculate gardens and outdoor environment with their tireless efforts of keeping the beach and grounds pristine, to the housekeeping staff who keep the rooms well looked after, to the tram operators, buggy drivers and room service staff providing service with a smile and warm greetings with every encounter… in fact, all staff and teams were always friendly and engaging! Thankfully, the weather had warmed up by our last day and we were able to enjoy some of the water sports. The fellows manning the kayak and stand up paddle (SUPs) boards, were friendly and helpful getting us out on the water…. they are definitely keeping an eye on your well-being… as the one fellow came out with the Seado to make sure we were ok… as we did get quite far out (knowingly, as we have our own sea kayak at home), and to his credit, he advised us that it was safer to stay within their recommended distance as the currents can be strong and the winds can pick up without notice and become a hazard very quickly. We totally appreciate and respect these rules. We certainly noticed the challenging conditions while paddle boarding! We also enjoyed some tennis and getting reacquainted with shooting a few hoops... the staff was on point with looking after us while we played! Many thanks! As though we hadn’t already had a fabulous experience from start to finish… it was topped off by me forgetting my iPad in our room… which I had only noticed once I had passed through security at the airport! Through excellent communication between all the teams… from Tuan/Steven (Club Manager), front desk staff, and housekeeping, to a taxi driver to the airport, to a member from the airport lounge (Na, I believe?) coming to find me at the curb while I awaited the taxi and kept me updated on arrival progress… truly an impressive service and seamless operation. Can’t thank everyone enough for an already superb and fabulous experience, to going even more above and beyond all imagination! To wrap it all up, it was an exceptional and unforgettable stay made possible through the wonderful team of warm, caring, and passionate people in all departments! Their dedication, pride and commitment to each of their roles truly shines through! Compliments to the Intercontinental Sun Peninsula for having such amazing people that had a way of making us feel truly special… and like family - we look forward to our next visit! Amazing memory with this super luxury resort! This was our first time visiting Da Nang with family and friends. The wonderful accommodation experience at Sunshine Peninsula InterContinental Hotel allowed us to enjoy the most top-notch, most considerate and most meticulous accommodation experience during this trip! Especially our dedicated housekeeper, Ms Nhi, who was very patient and considerate to us. She was able to respond quickly to our requests and resolve issues, and she was very responsive to things. The kids love her too! The hotel's environment, architecture, landscaping, and equipment are second to none. The unique natural environment and protected animals are all very fresh and surprising for children! Every hotel employee is well trained to make us feel at home!

wonderful Absolutely fabulous, relaxing with amazing arafat at longbar ,beach and pool (Huy) . This resort is one of the best I’ve stayed in. The rooms are so beautiful and have everything you want. All the staffs were adorable, they were super friendly and professional. Barefoot restaurant were very nice with sea view. We really had a wonderful trip here. We will come back for the next time. So amazing!

Styles, from sea to heaven During our stay at the Intercontinental in Danang, Vietnam, we booked a classic with ocean view room which was absolutely fabulous. The room was huge and came with a very glamorous bathroom and a massive balcony that offered spectacular views across the bay and the South China Sea. The resort itself is stunning, stylist, set on a cliffside with breathtaking views over the sea. The architecture is amazing and the scent of lemongrass adds to the exotic vibe of the place. The staff are extremely helpful and the hospitality is exquisite. Check in & Check out was done swiftly by Nhi & Vy. We really enjoy our conversation with these two beautiful and personable staff. Our butler service was Huy/Jasper - he has such a pleasant smile and very personable. The location of the resort is picture perfect, situated between the sea and the mountains. The views are simply magnificent, and the private beach is a sight to behold. The hotel is beautifully designed and well-maintained despite being around for 10 years. The Citron restaurant offers mainly Vietnamese dishes, which are all exceptional. The breakfast spread is also amazing. The Long Bar is another must-visit spot, with fantastic cocktails and a beautiful beach. You have to request for Ly our server. She was delightfully humorous with personality. We really enjoy our conversation with her. The staff at the resort are truly exceptional, and they go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. From the f&b director Venkat Undaram, F&B manager Mr. Oliver, F&B Manager Hai Vu to the servers at Citron and the assistant manager at Barefoot restaurant Hiện Nguyên, the service is attentive, genuine and relaxing. The Vietnamese traditional quartet was a great addition to the ambiance of Hoi An. The food spread was incredible. It has an abundant of choices and both Western and Eastern cuisine. The Asian/Vietnamese was truly delicious. We were also impressed by the attentiveness and enthusiasm of staff members like Suong Che, Anh Lương, and Suong Dang, Hoa Nguyen, Toan Le, who made our dining experiences truly memorable. Pool side service Xuan was very attentive and help find a great spot also help us with some beautiful photos. Overall, this resort is definitely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, and we cannot wait to go back. The commitment of the Intercontinental Danang to doing more than what is asked while executing at the highest level truly sets it apart. I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Suong Dang, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. We've tried crepes in Hanoi and in other hotels during our travels from north yo South Vietnam, but Anh's version was far superior. Her cooking was truly authentic and remained true to our Vietnamese heritage. We were impressed by her attention to detail, dedication to quality, and passion for her craft. Anh's culinary skills were definitely one of the highlights of our stay at the Intercontinental Danang, and we appreciate her for making our dining experience truly memorable. I would like to highlight the exceptional culinary skills of Chef Kha, the pastry chef at the Intercontinental Danang, who created some of the most memorable pastries we've ever tasted. From coconut banana pastries to macaroons, every pastry that Chef Kha made was simply delicious. His attention to detail and dedication to using local ingredients really shone through in his creations. We were impressed by the unique blend of Vietnamese and French flavors in his pastries, and they were truly unforgettable. Chef Kha's culinary skills were definitely one of the highlights of our stay at the Intercontinental Danang, and we appreciate him for making our dining experience truly exceptional. I would like to highlight Chef Tien, the head of the Citron hot food section, who created an exceptional dish called Cao Lau, a native dish of Hoi An. Chef Tien's culinary skills were truly impressive, and he created one of the best versions of Cao Lau that we've ever tasted. His attention to detail and dedication to using fresh, local ingredients really shone through in his creation. We appreciated his passion for preserving the authenticity of the dish and presenting it in a way that truly honored its Vietnamese heritage. Chef Tien's culinary skills were definitely one of the highlights of our stay at the Intercontinental Danang, and we appreciate him for making our dining experience truly exceptional. Thank you, Chef Tien, for your outstanding culinary skills. I would like to highlight Như Vo who was in charge of creating the delicious Pho soup that we enjoyed at Citron restaurant. Như Vo culinary skills were truly impressive, and she created one of the best versions of Pho that we've ever tasted. Her attention to detail and dedication to using fresh, local ingredients really shone through in her creation. I would like to highlight Hiện Nguyên, the assistant manager at Barefoot restaurant, who went above and beyond to help create a Cobb Salad for my husband, even though it was not on the menu. My husband was craving the salad and Hiện Nguyên was so nice and accommodating to help make it happen. Her attention to detail and dedication to providing exceptional service really impressed us. We appreciated her kindness and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. Hiện Nguyên's outstanding service was definitely one of the highlights of our stay at the Intercontinental Danang, and we appreciate her for making our dining experience truly memorable. Thank you, Hiện Nguyên, for your exceptional service! On a beautiful evening the beach was transform into a small Hoi An neighborhood. The air was filled was the most beautiful aroma of grilled pork, fish, squid, lamb and beef. All traditional Hoi An cuisine. We left with a content full stomach and the taste still remain vivid in my head as I sit and write this review. In Summary this amazing hotel/resort was not created by 1 but a team of passionate people that really love what they do and celebrated our heritage and culture for us to share and enjoy.
